Just to let you know that Talk for Health will still carry on with everything we do – in remote-yet-close ways.
It’s been a steep learning curve, and if anyone needs support on how to convert to online groups and trainings do get in touch.
The good news is, we’ve got more Tasters on than ever so it’s a great time to join the community
What’s happening this week
We have our next Talk for Health Taster on 20th May 2020
Click the link to go to the Eventbrite page
The Taster gives people the chance to experience some of the four key learning areas of our full programme:
•Open and truthful talking
•Basic counselling skills
•How to set up an ongoing group to take care of your own wellbeing and enable others to do so
After completing this you can go on to do the Talk For Health Full Peer Counselling Skills Programme or attend our regular Talk for Health Cafés.
Just to let you know we will not be changing anything in light of Boris’ most recent statement. Our priority continues to be staying safe and keeping those around us safe, so everything will remain online and remote-yet-close.
In addition to our weekly round up of events, we’ve included some nuggets of information that may be valuable to you – particularly Camden or Islington residents.
In light of everything that’s happening, it’s important to know about all the wonderful things that councils, organisations and individuals are doing to ensure we stay safe and stay connected to one another.
See the flyer below for future online Taster sessions!
