Cuppa Concerts for Phoenix Members

Posted on 06 July 2021

Last Christmas, Mind in Camden were lucky enough to receive a performance from the World Harmony Orchestra, a social enterprise made up of professional musicians who play for charitable causes.

Six members of our Phoenix service were treated to an outdoor, socially distanced Cuppa Concert on December 16th 2020 with classical violinist Anne Marie Christensen.

Along with her beautiful baroque repertoire, Anne Marie performed Christmas carols and folk pieces for added festive atmosphere.

A month later World Harmony Orchestra brought in the new year with a zoom Cuppa Concert, which Phoenix staff and members were lucky enough to be invited to.

The exciting concert featured several musicians showcasing a wide range of musical genres, instruments, and voices, including opera, pop, jazz, accordion, and harp.
