Make a Donation

As with any charity, the support we receive from individuals and charitable trusts helps us to continue to provide our essential services.

However, support isn't all about money - we value any kind of contribution you may be able to make to our services or organisation.

Some of the Different Ways you can Support Us

Fundraising activities

Holding a sponsored event, holding a cake sale, putting on a gig or clubbing together with members of your organisation to make us 'charity of the month' and collecting funds on our behalf. No amount of money is too small - we will put it all to good use.

Donations

Our Hearing Voices Projects are funded by the generosity of charitable trusts. However, one off donations have enabled us to: create the Voice Collective youth animation, buy essential books and much more. If you are a member of a charitable trust, company or are an individual who would like to make a donation - please get in touch by emailing us on admin@mindincamden.org.uk

We often run events for vulnerable people and welcome donations of food (snacks) and equipment to support us in this.

Volunteering

Our volunteers are valued, well-supported and essential to our work. If you'd like to volunteer your time, either as an ongoing volunteer or for a specific project - please see our volunteering page.

Work For Us

We occasionally have opportunities for paid employment. Please see our 'work for us' page for more information.

Spread The Word

If you feel inspired by anything you see on this site, you can help by sharing it with your friends and colleagues. Whether you re-post information to social media sites, print it off or have a conversation about it with someone you know - it all helps.

It is truly heart-warming to receive donations to support our work and is hugely encouraging to know that people want to support us to help make a difference.

Individual donations have provided many things to make our centre more welcoming and comfortable such as arts and craft materials for workshops, yoga mats, pictures and books, garden furniture, to name but a few and we have had wonderful support from some local businesses, organisations and student unions.

As well as financial help, we have been given some great donations in kind. Here are a few:

  • Remaindered new books from a book publisher
  • Living flowers from a wedding – that are still living on our patio
  • A Christmas song dedicated to us by members of Noah and the Whale and Mumford and Sons: "When Christmas Comes Around" - The Heathen And The Holy - YouTube
  • Christmas hampers for members and starter packs of household goods from a local Trust
  • An opera singer provided entertainment for a Christmas Day celebration and, more recently, a violinist put on a concert for a very small, socially distanced group of members

Thank you to everyone who has helped!
