Talk for Health has gone online!

Latest news from Talk for Health:

Just to let you know that Talk for Health will still carry on with everything we do – in remote-yet-close ways.

What’s going on?

Talk for Health is the only group peer counselling programme proven to lift wellbeing and reduce depression.  At present it is free as it is funded by the NHS and grant funders.  People’s gateway in to our ongoing Talking and NOW WRITING (see below) groups is to attend a Talk for Health Taster

We invite you to come and enjoy a Taster session to find out if it is right for you. The Taster will give you a chance to experience some of the four key learning areas of our full programme:

  • Open and truthful talking
  • Empathic listening
  • Basic counselling skills
  • How to set up an ongoing group to take care of your own wellbeing and enable others to do so
