Counselling at Mind in Camden

Our counselling service offers up to seven months of weekly one-to-one sessions, giving you the time and consistency to work through what’s troubling you with the same counsellor, in the same place, each week.

Getting started

Before counselling begins, you’ll attend an initial assessment. We ask for a £35 refundable deposit — this is put towards your first counselling session or refunded if you do not continue on to counselling with us.

Your sessions

Counselling sessions cost £35 each and take place in person at the Mind in Camden office. They are provided by approved trainee counsellors and psychotherapists, who receive regular clinical supervision throughout their placement.

Sessions run on Mondays and Wednesdays, 4pm–8pm, and your regular day and time will be agreed with you after your assessment.

Counselling is a weekly commitment, so you’ll need to attend the same slot each week; occasional absences are understandable, but regular attendance helps you get the most from the service and keeps your place secure.
