Counselling at Mind in Camden

Navigating life’s demands – whether managing everyday pressures, processing a major transition, or working through complex emotional challenges – can leave you feeling exhausted and stuck (especially in London).

Taking the first step toward therapy is a big decision. Whether you are seeking short-term support during a crisis or deeper long-term personal exploration, our team of experienced counsellors are here to guide you.

What do we offer?
  • Up to 9 months of 1-1 counselling at a flat rate of £35 per hour
  • Sessions delivered in Camden by Mind in Camden approved Trainee counsellors/Psychotherapists 
  • Session delivered on Monday and Thursday evenings between 4pm-8pm (you must be able to commit to a weekly slot in order to register your interest)
  • We offer a free assessment to ensure that we are the right fit for you and can support you safely (these are free but require a £20 reservation fee)
How does it work?
  • Please fill our contact form 
  • We will then be in touch within 5 weeks to organise an assessment (these are subject to a £20 deposit)
  • We will aim to place you with a counsellor within 10 weeks of receiving your contact form

Sharing your information*
The group space is confidential but if a peer support facilitator has significant concerns for the welfare of myself or another person, information may be shared within the organisation and/or to other statutory services for the purposes of safeguarding. We will endeavour to tell you before doing so.
Information we collect*
For the purposes of joining Peer Support Groups we collect: Your name, address and contact details Contact details of a mental health professional or your GP Equality monitoring information if you choose to supply it We ask for details of someone we should contact in an emergency Details provided by you or your referrer about risk that you may present to yourself or others We only keep information that is relevant to you accessing Peer Support Groups
Text Reminders
We send weekly text reminders for our groups and will also notify attendees in the event of a cancellation. Would you like to receive these texts?
