As with any charity, the support we receive from individuals and charitable trusts helps us to continue to provide our essential services. However, support isn’t all about money – we value any kind of contribution you may be able to make to our services or organisation.
We’re looking for a qualified, accredited counsellor or psychotherapist (BACP, UKCP, NCPS or equivalent) to volunteer their time providing weekly, one-to-one counselling to adults across Camden, on Monday and/or Wednesday afternoons at Mind in Camden.
You’ll hold a small caseload of clients presenting with issues such as anxiety, depression, bereavement and life transitions, working within your professional body’s ethical framework.
We ask for a commitment to regular supervision and CPD, current professional indemnity insurance, and ideally some post-qualification experience, including in the voluntary or community sector.
In return, we offer group clinical supervision, two CPD workshops a year, and the chance to help shape a new, low-cost counselling service within a welcoming charity team.
To apply, send your CV, completed application form, and a short covering letter to counselling@mindincamden.org.uk telling us about your experience and interest.
